Alternate Online Shopper

Almost everyone has used eBay and Amazon for their shopping needs. What makes these sites great, is their popularity and global business presence. For so many years they (especially eBay), have been pioneers in the buy-sell world, that most of the buyers refuse to trust any new online shoppers right away. Thankfully, there is a new site that looks promising at least for domestic online shopping in US.
sell.com classifieds
Sell.com has been around for a while, and is fast gaining popularity among sellers in US. All the innovative marketing offers and referral programmes have allowed it to get this attention. This site has listed thousands of deals over 100s of categories. Some of the electronic item deals are awesome! You can get ipods, tablets, smart phones...
you name it - and it is there.
Just like other famous online markets, sell.com is completely free for buyers. There are mainly two online payment options available - PayPal & Google Checkout. The others are offline like Checks, MOs and COD. If PayPal is available, then definitely that gives a lot of buyer confidence. What else do we need!

Particular advantage is perhaps for new sellers, who can list their first item for FREE. Even for subsequent items, the listing fee is very very cheap, compared to other markets. But the best part is that there is no Final Value Fee - that means if your product sells, you don't have to give even a penny to sell.com - isn't that great!

The site is pretty fast in speed, and quite user-friendly too. One word of caution though. Unlike eBay that hides its mature content items, deep within a category, this site has them listed on top level. But accessing those pages is not straightforward. Of course they will not allow that - will they? Users are warned and have to confirm that they are entering a special zone. But otherwise, everything looks good about this site.
